Folks,
Recently I had the opportunity to go to the 150th Anniversary Commemoration of the Battle of Perryville in Perryville KY. I had never been to a Civil War reenactment and it was incredible! At the original battle over 72000 men were in the area of the battle. When it was over over 7600 soldiers lost their lives either at the battle or as an immediate result of the battle.
At the reenactment there were over 2000 Union and Confederate soldiers. Their commitment to portraying themselves accurately was impressive! If you ever get a chance to go to a Civil War reenactment check it out!
Here are some photos of the battle on my site at www.kennethtripp.com
Enjoy!

Sounds very cool. Your images are very good - how close could people get to the 'camps'?
