SOLD Like New 2012 Raindrop Ultra 560 For Sale

jldailey

Newbie
I have decided to sale my ultra 560. My wife and I have come to the conclusion that we're just not going to use it enough to justify keeping it. We purchased it new from Camp Inn in 2012 and have only used it a total of 6 times maybe a total of 12 days or so. It has been stored in a garage the whole time and is in excellent condition. We haven't even had to refill the LP tank yet. We are asking $20,500. This was unit #494 with the following specs:

Electric brakes with park lever
SUV off road-tire package
Air Conditioning
LP furnace
15" HDTV/DVD player
AMG battery upgrade
Solar conroller/connection
Back up lights
Rear bumper - stainless steel
2" receiver hitch
Alcan cover
Screen doors
Galley wind screens
Spare tire
Side entrance tent with rain fly
Storage cover
Dometic AC/DC frig / freezer with cozy cover
25' gas / water extension hoses
LP gas meter
We've added the two drop in storage drawers
Table extension

We are located in the state of Oregon

Gym,

Your offer has me interested. I have one on order with a mid-July delivery from Camp Inn, but your 560 has everything on my order list except a stereo and handicap accessibility. I don't need the latter, but thought it would ease my movement inside the cabin to have something to hang onto, especially moving from the bed to the couch. A stereo is not a deal breaker for me, and I assume this trailer has the fantastic fan (probably without the rain sensor).

Does the trailer have clear title? Have you experienced any maintenance issues with the 560 during your ownership? Please don't be offended by this question, but are you or your wife smokers?

Are you on the west side of Oregon? Just wondering to plan driving distance from Kansas.

We live on the west side of Oregon just south of Portland. We do have clear title and yes it has a fantastic fan (no rain sensor) and neither my wife or I are smokers. We've had no maintenance issues. I'm currently in the process of using the Walbanizer polish on it (this will be the second time I've done that - not that it needs it rather I think it gives me something to do). I did change out the crome wheels and baby moon hubs that came on the trailer and went with an aftermarket five spoke wheel and had them powder coated black to match the wheels I had on my jeep. I think they look really good but that may or may not be a deal breaker for you if you have your heart set on the crome wheels. Let me know if you have any other questions. I'll be glad to send pictures if you like - it truly is a great trailer - just wish we liked camping more.

Your trailer has a lot of nice options. Would expect it to be in near showroom condition. Good luck on your sale.

Gym,

After struggling with my mind, I have decided to stay the course and purchase my Model 560 new from the Camp Inn family. The second half of March I drove up to Wisconsin and toured the facility. Also, I took them the components to the stereo and battery monitor to install in the one I have on order. Had your trailer become available a few weeks earlier, it likely would have gone the other way.

There is a couple on the forum from Eugene, Oregon that have posted an interest to purchase a 560. This couple goes by the posting names of "Wade and Nan". I short search will help you contact them.

In visiting with the Camp Inn family, I was told that Unit #494 is a different configuration. Please verify the Unit #.

No worries. You won't be disappointed.

As to the unit # - I just pulled a number off of the original invoice that I thought was the unit # - not sure if I grabed the right number - in any event my unit was built and delivered in 2012. I'm not sure what configuration they are talking about. It looks identical to the 560 unit on their web site. So if it's changed I'm not sure what has changed.

In any event - have a great time with your trailer.

Cary will likely chime in; but the invoice # isn't the unit #. If you open up your galley hatch, on the back wall on the left, above the shelf will be the unit #.

Gym,

As Sherry pointed out, the invoice number has nothing to do with the serial number of our trailers. The only place the serial number appears is on the tag found in the galley. That is the number you will want to use.

The comment about the different configuration was because serial number 494 belongs to a 550 model in CA.

Hello,

I just found Camp Inns and have decided we really NEED the 560 for our family. We love camping but I feel like I'm getting tired of sleeping on the ground. I would love some photos of yours. We're in San Diego but have family outside of Portland and could definitely make this work!

Thanks!

Hi,

I'm more than willing to send some photos but I haven't figured out how to load photo's on this forum so if you'll send me your email address I'll be glad to send some to you. my email is jldailey@mac.com.

Jim

Gym,

To post pictures, the easiest way is to upload the pictures to a hosting services like imgur.com, photobucket, imageshack or some other photo service.

The photo hosting service will give you a link to the folder and to each image.

Then, when you are posting on the forum, click on the add photo button. It will open a box where you can put the link to the photo hosting service. That will add the photo to the post.
