I'm scheduled to leave June 2nd for Lake Chelan State Park here in my home state of Washington. I'll only be there for three nights but I have lots of activities planned. For one I'll take the Lady Of The Lake up to Stehekin. The only way to get there is by boat, plane or walk the 55 up miles up lake. I've flown up on a seaplane twice and taken the lady up about a dozen times over the last 40 years.

Lake Chelan is a beautiful lake and is the third deepest lake in the United States.

Thanks for the details. When you head up the lake, is that always a day trip?
 
Yes. The Lady Of The Lake leaves at 8am and returns at 5pm if I remember right. I’ve flown up on a seaplane twice and spent the entire day there. The Lake is 55 miles long so the boat ride is long with only 90 minutes at Stehekin.
 
I hooked up the trailer and pulled it out of the garage so it is sitting in the driveway. Now I can't get anything done because all the neighbors keep stopping and asking me questions. ;)

Tomorrow I'll be loading it up but in truth it is already mostly ready to go. All I need to do is pack my clothes and food for five days.:)
