Kitchen Retro complete..Splashguard and Faucet

I started and finished the upgrade today. It went well. If yours goes like mine, plan to file the cove molding on the drawer side of the counter top. The metal thickness and the radius of the corner combined to require some filing. I would line up the holes and tighten down the molding to see that it flushes to the splashguard, in the corner, before applying the silicone.
The faucet is a significant upgrade over the standard on our camper #338. The flow is greater and the quality is more in line with the rest of the trailer. As said earlier, an hour and a half is probably enough. two hours no problem. Steve

Steve, thanks for your post. I am planning the upgrade for a next month project...in the middle of a remodel on our upstairs. I was considering passing, but your post brought me back to my senses, of course, the more I spend on this trailer the better. I still behave as a child in a candy store, fact is I vote Camp-Inn name their online store "The Candy Store".

    Kent,
The only error I made was the way I held down the new trim that goes on the top of the splash guard. When I filed it to fit, I held it down with the exposed side down. It scratched. Only you and I could find it because only you and I know. It does not show. Hope this helps.
Speaking of "Candy Store"...we are going to add a bumper. Last fall, I even ordered two Camp-Inn Mugs for the galley. I will probably get a couple of tee shirts when I order the bumper.
PM me if you have any questions. The upgrade went well and looks good.
    Steve
