WA National Park Kalaloch Campground (Olympic NP)

Camp sites can be small along the bluff overlooking the ocean

Easy beach access, huge beach for hiking and playing

I've seen Kalaloch rated as Washingtons number 1 campground in several reviews and books. While it isn't my personal number 1 it is very nice. The beach access is wonderful, the views when it is'nt foggy are gorgeous. The campground doesn't have showers but the rest of the facilities are very nice. Note that this campground is VERY busy, it's impossible to get a campsite during the summer without a reservation and to get a ocean view site you need to reserve six months in advance.
