Here's some info on a campout that is planned for the weekend of July 17-18. The couple who is hosting it, Dayna & Rick, are great people and they do this every year.
Space is limited, so if you would like to go, you need to contact Dayna. You can contact her through T&TTT. I will post an email address later today.
I have also included the link to the thread on T&TTT, so you can check in for updates.
We're planning another party weekend this year at my family's place in Morris---ten acres on a lovely waterway. There's swimming and games and Rick's mouthwatering slow-cooked barbecue that he always does at these gatherings. It's dry camping but with access to water and other comforts. We can only take a limited number of teardrops, so if you want to come, just message me here on the forums to let me know.
People can come on Friday if they want and stay until Sunday. The party itself is going to be potluck as most teardrop gatherings seem to be, and we'll try to have a nice big breakfast on Sunday. You'll want to bring a swimsuit for going in the lake!
The town of Morris is truly lovely, with a beautiful downtown area right on the I&M Canal, a racetrack with races on Friday and Saturday nights, and Cruise Nights during the summer, where they display hundreds of antique cars, though I don't know if they have it planned for that particular weekend.
