Finalizing our order with Cary early next week (w/o 10 Sept) for a 560 Ultra. This forum has been invaluable in helping us reason through how we wanted our CI configured.

We are excited about becoming part of the CI community and hopefully meeting some of you on the road.

    Welcome Greg and Kelley!

Congratulations on your order of a 560.Sounds like you've done a lot of reading on the forum to help with your list of options and accessories. This is just the beginning! There is always something more that you'll want to add to make it your own. We're glad you're here!

Greg and Kelly, welcome to the life! We don't pick our 560 up until the end of this month but we already feel like we've been part of the life since we started visiting the Forum. It's so hard to look at the attached picture of the Crab Pot and we still haven't actually touched it. Enjoy our picture until you get yours.

  5. Welcome Greg and Kelly:

I'm only a couple of weeks ahead of you with my recent order. It's not just a trailer, it's a lifestyle and a built-in family of fellow Camp Inn peeps.

I look forward to running in to you on this forum and maybe even on the road!

    Welcome Greg & Kelley,
We pick our 560 up Oct. 15.
This forum is invaluable. Just wait till you go to a camp out and all the ideas you'll come home with. Like we did this past weekend.

Thanks to all for your welcoming notes. Our Purchase Contract is now coordinated (in the mail to us tomorrow per Cary) and we are in the pipeline for a late April 2013 pickup.

So now we have months to wait, learn and begin to decide on what sites/trips we want to make. Hearing about (and especially seeing pictures of) your travels really gets the creative ideas flowing.

    Greetings Greg and Kelley,

I also just began my long wait but not quite as long as yours. Spending time planning where to go and what to bring will keep me occupied for now. I guess we get to enjoy our wait and let the anticipation build up until completion.

  9. Jenn: Doh! Good point!

Greg and Kelly. & Daryl: I've actually designated a large plastic bin in my basement as my "Hope Chest." As I slowly purchase items for my 560, they are going in there.

Rick, I'm clearing out one side of my garage where my 550 will call home and then filling that space back up with all of its goodies.

Rick and Daryl - seems like we are all on a similar path. Like Rick, we decided to take the plunge based on the perceived quality from the posts and the sense of community within the group. I too am figuring out how to clear the garage bay and have a long list of items (most of which I am picking up from the posts on the forum) of necessary items for the first trip. With my long wait, I will keep searching for good sales to procure the more costly items (Northern Breeze, Solar Panels, etc.) at a savings. Add the research on places to see, what routes to take, where to stay - and hopefully time will fly by as my anticipation grows.

Thanks Oly! Would love to hear about your experience and recommendations from when you pick up your 560. Know you must be very excited that you are down to the last few weeks of waiting. - Greg

Excited is really putting it mild.
This one of the most exciting things I have ever waited for.
I went to the insurance today and got everything lined up for it to go into effect Oct. 15th
Full coverage $100.ded. comp and $500. ded coll. for $110. a year.
We have had so much fun looking for old retro silverware, plates etc.

  14. Welcome from a pair of fellow Texans. We have really enjoyed our 550 for the past year. We just got back yesterday from a 2 week trip to upstate NY, Vt.,NH and Maine. Great trip and the 550 was perfect.

Maybe we'll see around the state parks of Tx.

Your trip sounds wonderful. We hope to pick up our camper at the end of the year or just after the New Year - so we should be out there early in 2013. The Interactive Owner's Map shows that we don't live too far from one another. Any suggestions for a great, but short first trip in the Northern Texas area? (Greg)

  16. Congratulations Greg & Kelley! You're going to be a few months ahead of ours—we're waiting until next year for our 550 Classic. But definitely can appreciate your thoughts on how invaluable this forum is and pacing for the excited wait ahead.

  17. Rick that Hope Chest plan sounds like it will definitely become part of our household next year. Great idea.
