If anyone heads to Hot Springs, AR and is looking for a great place to stay inside the city with close proximity to all the goodies there yet be "in the woods", consider staying in Gulpha Gorge. They have recently remodeled the park so every campsite has water, electricity and are nice camp sites. #'s 3 & 4 are the closest to the bathrooms (no showers), so a shower tent would be a necessity if you're going to stay more than 2 days. Sites are nicely spaced, the park has nice quaint lights at each site. There's a hiking trail up the mountain and the park's right off Hwy. 70 going towards Little Rock, but in Hot Springs. All sites are on a first come first serve basis. Google it.
