Honda EU2000i Generator Recall

I know there are a few folks here who have this generator, so I thought I'd pass this on if you hadn't seen it already. If you purchased a Honda EU2000i recently, this is for a potential fuel tube leak, making it a fire hazard:

    http://powerequipment.honda.com/pdf/Recalls/eu2000i-recall-poster.pdf

The recall full bulletin can be found in the files section of the Yahoo Honda EU2000 Generators group (registration required):

I purchased mine in November and it was marked as inspected, but I checked anyway to be sure. It's just four screws and a 10 minute process. The bulletin also talks about older units, so if you have one, you may still want to check.

    Cheers

    Interesting, thanks.
I'll be getting one this month... good to know... I'll assume they will have been "fixed" for new purchases...

Just curious about the generator. Was thinking of the Yamaha think it is the 2001 model that runs on gasoline/ propane or natural gas. Have you or anyone on this forum had experience with the Honda or Yamaha units. Dave
