    Greetings,

My name is Lyle Scheer, and I am a soon to be owner of a 560 ultra that I plan to tow with my 2004 Honda CR-V and go adventuring with my wife Karen, and my two sons Jonathan (6, 7 by the time we get the trailer) and Morgan (2).

We recently put down a down payment on our trailer and it will be built early in the summer. We plan on a road trip the last week of July and first two weeks of August out to Colorado, a week at a dude ranch with the rest of my family (mom and step-dad, step-sister and family, and sister and family), and then back home.

We also have an 80-90pound dog (Carly) who we plan to take with us on adventures (though not our maiden voyage). We're excited that the trailer will allow us enough room to fit everyone in the CR-V and still be able to camp. She's got some arthritic back legs and would welcome sleeping in the side tent while we're all in the trailer.

Congrats, Lyle. I am sure you will love the trailer. That makes three of us in the Northwest pulling our 560s with CR-Vs! Don't worry, it will do just fine. We've logged 7,000 miles since we got our trailer 3 months ago, and Kent Kanipe (soon to be member in this forum) took his to Alaska and back last summer.

Good luck keeping Carly in the side tent!!!!! We failed miserably at human/canine segregation!
    Congrats on your new trailer!

Welcome Lyle! We have ordered a 560 ultra as well. Our production should start any day now (if not already). We ordered in January and will pick up in early May. In the meantime have been making mostly small purchases so we can be ready to camp when we pick it up.

Good luck with your road trip and vacation!

    -Bob
