Question from a pre-newbie. First night in one week.

Question: should I get a stainless steel or cast iron griddle. I'm leaning towards stainless for easy of cleaning. I just use water and papertowl on a hot griddle. Also I like the steel high sides.

    Let the debate begin. Lol

My husband is the chef in our teardrop life and he likes cast iron!

Either works fine. If you've got your cast iron seasoned right it's almost like teflon, making clean up pretty easy. It is a bit heavier though ;)

Have tent camped and pop-up camped for 27 years. I love and still use my cast iron skillets and dutchovens. They clean up so easy.
