    Hello all !
Jan and I just updated our profile to show that we're now the proud owners of a 550 Ultra - #527. I drove out to Wisconsin the end of July to pick it up, and camped out 3 nights bringing it back to Maryland. GREAT comments and smiles from lots of folks on the way back. One father told me his son asked if the teardrop was a mobile home for dwarfs. Another guy pulled up next to me in his pickup truck, on a busy bridge in a 50 MPH zone, waving his hands and pointing at the TD. So I slowed to 25, expecting him to tell me of a major problem with the TD. Instead, big grin and "Where didya get that thing ? It's AWESOME !!!"

We spent this weekend doing the Woody Wax, packing camping gear and food and will spend our first night camping together at Cunningham Falls State park in the Catoctin Mts in western Maryland tomorrow night. Tomorrow is just a dry run for a two nighter at Watkins Glen NY this next weekend as we help Jan's daughter move in to college in Ithaca.

Love reading all the posts and seeing how all the TDs are outfitted. Hope to see some of you out there !

  2. I'm jealous! Congratulations! I hope to have my own maiden voyage story to tell someday. Enjoy.

I have been trying to guess what # OUR 560 will be. We are scheduled to pick it up Oct. 15th. My guess is 535?
Have fun. Just in time for some great fall camping.

Congrats on your new teardrop Steve and Jan! And welcome to the forum. It's a good site filled with plenty of ideas and is a great resource for help with your new camper, as the people here have tons of experience and will be happy to share.
Watkins Glen? I've heard a lot people mention that as a great spot. We will have to get there sometime.
    Have a great trip!

    Steve and Jan,

Once again, welcome to Camp-Inn ownership and now to the forum. There's
lots of good information here on maintaining your CI. If you get into
modding your trailer, then this is the place to be. The people here
have come up with great ideas on how to improve an already great
    product.

Also, I hope those guys at the MVA didn't give you too much grief. ;)

    Cheers

Oly, mine is #535 and it will be ready Aug 27th if that gives you an idea about your number. We won't drive up to pick it up until the day before CI CO so we can spend some time at CI if necessary.
Matt, I'm from Upper Marlboro so you get why I named our unit The Crab Pot. I try to get back a few times each summer to get some blue crabs. Sure do miss them down here in FL.
Of course Steve and Jan congrats to you on your new addition!
