Been sitting on www.recreation.gov for a week waiting on someone to cancel in Smokemont Campground in the Great Smokies NP so we could get in a quick trip their the first week of July. Finally, got one today so we will be there for 3 nights, July 2-5. We have camped here many times in a tent, but this will be the first time in our 560 Ultra. There are some campgrounds that are all walk up sites, but I was a little worried about the week of the 4th so we decided to play it safe. This is one is on the NC side near the town of Cherokee and the Qualla Boundary Reservation.

Probably, going to squeeze in a local trip next week here in SC on Lake Hartwell too.
