Finally time to head north

  1. Hi everyone! It's been a long wait since May but we are finally going to pick up our CI 550 #470 on 10/21, next Friday.

I've been reading on this forum since before we even ordered and want to thank everyone for all the great info and ideas. If I had a question I could usually find an answer and if not Cary was always very helpful.

Unfortunately our trip up and back will be relatively short because it was hard to get off work on short notice but we will still get a few nights camping in.

My wife and I have always been tent campers and I still backpack a lot but really like the idea of having a simple small trailer ready to go on short notice without having to pack so much gear into our car.

We'll let everyone know how our trip goes.

You will not be disappointed, it is a perfect way to get away on short notice.
Just got our #456 550 last month, it's a great base camp for hiking.

    Cheers, J&B

Rob and Terri, congratulations on your CI. Too bad ya can't stay out a little longer, but You have the comfort of knowing the wait is over. Have fun.

  7. Well it won't be too bad. We'll have 2 or 3 nights going back and I have relatives about 30 mins from Necedah that I'll get to see. And I'm twisting Cary's arm to get the pick up a day earlier so who knows, maybe we'll have an extra night.

I think Cary and the crew like to hold on to them as long as they can. Good Luck and Enjoy.

  12. Heading out in the morning. Cary and the production crew were very helpful and were able to have our pick up ready for Thurs instead of Fri so we can have a more leisurely trip home.
