Yeah, I know...most campgrounds along I-5 are not overly awesome. I am looking for a decent one in southern Oregon/Northern Cali that folks like enough for a one night stay, that is safe for a lady and her kid, has good access to the freeway, and you would go to. Was hoping to get to Medford at the very least (looking at Valley of the Rogue SP as the furthest north). Do others have suggestions for a little further south?

    Thanks for suggestions!

Indian Mary is a great park on the Rogue River, but it's about 15 minutes off of the freeway at Merlin (just north of Grants Pass).

We stayed last year on our way to Lake Shasta for the Dam Gathering we stayed at Seven Feathers RV park. It is part of the Seven Feathers Casino.

Real great park with indoor pool, private showers and rest rooms. About $30.00 nite.

Check it out I think it would fit your bill to a T.
