Dust... Dust Everywhere

We did ~60 miles on dirt roads a couple days ago, traveling from Steens Mountain to Boise, ID. When we opened up the camper upon arrival, we found the road dust everywhere-- in the cabin, in the kitchen, on our pots and pans in the under-counter storage...

I'm sure we didn't forget to close anything. We've weathered a full on dust storm in Oregon earlier this month, with 30 mph dust-laden winds. That time, nothing at all got in the camper. But this Steens dust is so fine, it must have been able to creep in where other stuff couldn't.

We're going to think twice about desert dirt roads, next time!

Thanks Jenn, this is extremely helpful. We did a lot of ruminating about sealing techniques while cleaning the camper this weekend. Next time -- of course there will be a next time -- we hit a dirt road we'll try all of your suggestions. The biggest remaining open question is how to seal the AC...

On a related note-- deep cleans are very satisfying.
