We just got home from the Tearjerkers group camp out in Madison, IN at Clifty Falls State Park. A great park, and a great group of people. We have not attended their gatherings before - they have a great group of people, some who camp together regularly, and others who only occasionally make the outings. There were even a few 'first timers' like us. We were the only CampInn there, and many people came by to see the 'Cadillac of Teardrops' as they put it. As usual, everyone is very impressed with the quality workmanship and design of the trailer. It meant we had to keep the bed made, though.
There were also a lot of home made teardrops, and some of them were quite impressive. It's always nice to hear the stories of how they got made.
The park is great, lots of trails to hike, some along bluffs, others along creek beds, and others into the heart of the woods. Sites are nice and big, and showers/washrooms excellent.
The town of Madison is a couple miles away and VERY cute - almost Colonial. Plenty of stores and restaurants, all set right on the Ohio River. We'd definitely recommend this park - 2 thumbs up!
