PNW Caravan to CICO in WI? Trip route?

    Howdy,
I thought I saw this started but can't find it. Anyone interested in doing a Caravan over to the Official CICO in Sept?
I would be interested in tagging along. Would like to do a more southern route from the Montana ND routes.. Haven't really looked at a map yet, but I like to plan these things get an idea.. Figuring 4-5-6? days over? dunno.. 6 sounds a little too much... but?

Google is showing 3 main routes. Of the three, the bottom Southern route looks the most interesting, and knock off a few states too?
Corrected: (see Betsy note below and check for final directions as indicated below)

This link is for route finding from the West to the East. I believe I have the right one now, right off of Hwy G.. but I've never been there.

Do a search and directions to:
camping near Castle Rock County Park, Mauston, WI

    Thoughts??

(not sure where to post this, Trip planning or here - feel free to move it as needed)

Correction to the address on Google Maps that Frank posted...the address for the park is not 650 Prairie St, Mauston...that is the County Parks Office for Juneau County.

The address of the park is Hwy G.

Also, there are two Castle Rock County Parks on Castle Rock Lake...one on the east side of the lake in Adams County and one on the west side of the lake in Juneau County. The Camp-Outt is at the Juneau County Castle Rock Park. Important to know because if you go to the Adams County park: 1) You will find yourself in a lonely spot with us having a grand time across the lake; 2) It is a LONG way around the lake to get to the Juneau County park. :(

In the past, I've always sent complete directions & a map out to all attendees about a week before the Camp-Outt. This year, Craig is adding it to the Camp-Inn website, as well as the Camp-Outt website.

Please use these directions & map. They are the MOST accurate information for getting to the park (even over using a GPS).

I am still working on whether I am going, but if I do (and I will let you know), I am definitely interested in a caravan. Lets keep in touch for sure. I am trying to work it out. Fingers crossed.

Initial route planned from Seattle, WA to the Camp Inn Camp Out (CICO)

and then down to the Albuquerque, NM Hot Air Balloons. Route is trying to "Knock Off" the States so I can say I've been there...

It doesn't really count as I'll just be driving through them, not really stopping anywhere in particular... This is the initial route, subject to change on a whim, whenever... sigh, whatever...

Google Route map 4920 miles 74hrs
(and yes, I'll drive around the block a few time with Le Droppe to brake the 5000 mile marker. )

I plan to be in Necedah on Sunday the 22. I am taking the route through North Dakota. The plan is to drive about 400 miles per day. I leave on Wednesday the 18th. I have some ideas about where to stop each night but I am going to play it by ear.
