Cheeeese

Hi!
We're going to be taking our first trip to Wisconsin to pick up our lovely new Raindrop in a month or so. Of arguable priority to actually picking up the trailer is finding some even lovelier cheese (and a case or two of New Glaurus) Anybody have recommendations for cheese shops? Preferably near to our planned route in and out of Wisconsin on I 90?

From the south !

Which will probably bring you from the west, coming through La Crosse, if Google is correct. You could come up through Dubuque or over through Rockford --- which would make it a southern entry --- but you'd be adding quite a bit to the trip.

Now, if you want to discuss places on those routes ;)
  • La Crosse has an absolutely beautiful Catholic Shrine, which I stop at every time I pass through.
  • Dubuque has a famous inclined railroad.
  • Joliet, Illinois, of course, has the famous Blues Brothers Prison.

I-90 comes up through Illinois from Chicago... Merges with I-94 at Madison I-90 Splits at Tomah to go to La Crosse and I-94 continues up to St. Paul / Minneapolis

Mousehouse! This is a tradditional stop for any of our trips up North. Bonus is there is an A&W right next door. The Mousehouse does serve deli sandwiches that are good and healither LOL
