    The jacking up bit was because we have a VERY steep driveway up to the house. Even at the top where it flattens out a bit it's still not close to level. I used a small hydraulic jack under the axle to raise the trailer, then opened the scissor jack onto some wood. There was no way I could raise the rig enough with the scissor jack alone. I will probably travel with the bottle jack.
    And yes Jenn, we had our inaugural sleep in the driveway! Carole, Ace and I had a great, dream filled first night.
