Cargo Carrier

I am adding the receiver hitch to our 550. I will use it for a cargo carrier. I know cargo carriers tend to twist and bow with the load. I want the carrier to be square and not rattle in the hitch. Has any one installed a cargo carrier and attached the edge towards the camper to the bumper? This would keep it square and keep it from rattling. I can envision using a solid mount on the carrier and a mating piece for the curvature of the bumper. A down and dirty way would be hose clamps on the bumper.
Let me know what you all think?

Why a hitch cargo carrier instead of a cargo carrier on top of the Tow vehcile or teardrop?

I hunt. Since my tow vehicle is an '02 Forester, I need a way to bring home the bacon. I intend on carrying the cargo carrier on the rack on my car. I will install if I am successful.
Good question, I know some people are offended by hunting. I mention it only as a point of clarification.

Jacob,
Yes I have installed the cargo carrier. It is featured in the photo gallery with the first time I used it. I used a tightening locking pin. It seems to work well. I don't notice it making any noise and it is very firm. I have left it in place and feel good with it there as I back up. Hope this helps.
