Couch / Bunk Beds Camping With 4?

This post is for anyone out there who has a 560 campinn with 2 kids. We're looking at the 560 and wondering. We love everything about this little unit but I have a question. I have 2 teenage daughters 16 and 14. Off of the faq on campinn:
If you have teenagers, they can stay in a tent and the adults can stay in the Camp-Inn. They want a little privacy, and you don't have to sleep on rocks.

Yes this is true. But I can imagine a scenario the tent might not be feasible occasionally, such as when rain is present upon arrival and setup is not desirable, or in lower temperatures (perhaps camping for thanksgiving). So in such an occurrence they'd be sleeping on the bunks for that night, which would be a few inches shorter than they are (and only growing).
We're going to look at one on Sunday and hopefully get an idea of how feasible this would be on those rare occasions, but what has been some experiences (if any) of any of you in this situation? Has this been a major issue, or has caused you to regret your purchase? Perhaps there are some out there whose kids were smaller when they bought where their size was not an issue, and they grew. How did this work out for you with this unit? Thanks for any insight.

Here's my advice: Leave the kids at home. Sure, you'll worry a little about the massive party they will be hosting, but they will clean the house so thoroughly in order to hide the evidence that you won't have to clean house for a month.

Just a thought… ;-)

Children are temporary, but Camp-Inns are eternal. Well, sort-of.
20 years from now the kids will be long gone, but your Camp-Inn will still be giving a return on your investment.

We have a 9-year-old daughter that is growing like a weed. I shall forbid her to continue growing.
That's what Craig and Betsey did with Nichole and she stopped growing at 5'0". It's worth a try.

I think you will find that as the girls get older they will be less and less inclined to tag along - especially when the conditions aren't favorable. Perhaps that will solve your problem.

Yes, because we are such giants and we certainly didn't want that fate befalling her. ;)

Yes very true we are definitely buying for the future no matter what we get, and they will not often want to come along in the future. And we've actually ventured out recently on our own camping trip without them, so that has already begun. That is what we were discussing exactly. It's great to have a forum like this to confirm our sanity. (if we are in fact sane that is :))
Thanks and if anybody thinks of any other advice please chime in.

:D
