Camp-Inn Sheets

For those normal folks that like to sleep between two sheets that fit the bed correctly; here is the answer. With a 1” topper of choice (2” will probably work) the bottom fitted sheet goes on easily and the elastic all around it keeps it snug and in place on the Camp-Inn mattress. Without extra material to hide or tuck under.

The top sheet is the real treat. It is fitted at the foot to hook on easily and isn’t too short, too long, too narrow or too wide. Just think, no extra material to tie your feet up or fighting with the mattress to tuck it in. Side material just pushes down the sides.

The hardest part of making the bed is putting on the pillow cases. Almost.

The Queen XL Sofabed 60” x 80” x 6” set is the one that fits.

Thanks Hilditch! I looked at sofabed sheets but could not find any long enough.

Hilditch, I like them! Sure beats trying to sew a flat sheet to a fitted sheet, especially when one doesn't possess any sewing skills.

Are the sheets comfortable? I've had some 200TC sheets that felt like sleeping on sandpaper.

That was my thought exactly...200 TC pills after a few washings. Wish they came in a higher TC.

Thanks, Hilditch! This is what we have been looking for. I wonder if you can get flannels.

Thanks Hilditch - I went back and reread some things about the sheets and I missed the part about the fitted top sheet at the bottom. That's gonna make it really nice to not have the sheets come untucked in the middle of the night! Just ordered a set! Thanks again.

Buy the sheets you like and sew the center of the flat sheet to the "bottom" of the fitted sheet.

If you can't sew them together, then use a safety pin (or even a stapler).

No reason to use sheets you don't like

We just did the safety pin thing, worked fine. No hassle making up the bed. We lifted and slid the mattress toward the headboard so we wouldn't have to wrestle with the sheets under the cabinets. Hoping to have the same effortless result when we make up the bed with the foiled-bubblewrap insulation under it for our next outing.

Jenn, that's what we figured out on our trip, also. Helps having one person in each doorway! Kathy

This would be a significant problem, as I do not help my wife make the bed.

I see that the cozy linen website that Hilditch mentioned has the queen XL sheets in 300 ct and in 4 colors. Price is around $90. Tempting!

  15. I like how they state...

For our customers in cooler regions, our flannel queen XL sofa bed sheet set is made of double-brushed Portuguese flannel that keeps your guests wrapped in a soft and cozy cocoon all night long. 100% cotton to boot and five colors to choose from.

sure makes me think I want a pair and they are on sale now also for $87...hmmm, might have to seriously think about this. I love my flannel sheets all year round.

Unfortunately I already know what my husband will say :)

Got my sheets a while back and they sit in my linen closet, but they're coming out soon and going on the CI bed...headed to the Texas Hill Country in about a week. I have the sewn together sheets on the bed now but will exchange them to see how I like these.

RE: pulling the mattress towards the couch to put the sheets on - even with two it's difficult for us still - getting old sucks!

It doesn't really suck, Linda, it just changes the way we do things a bit...
