Itinerary Camp-in Weekend

For those of you that are Tearjerkers, this weekend is a Camp-In weekend. In some parts of the world, it is still cold and nasty, but not here in North Carolina!

So, Tearjerkers is "hosting" a Camp-In vs. a camp out weekend. If you can get to your teardrop, pull it out of the garage or even keep it in the garage and camp in this weekend.

I am going to clean it up and set up chairs, cook, eat, chat and just have a nice weekend camping at home. Yes, we are planning to sleep in the Raindrop too.

Join us, take some pictures and have some fun.

I had ours out in the sunlight yesterday and today, getting it ready for the new season. I set up our side tent today for the 1st time and got it adjusted nicely - it will be a much-used addition. Even sealed the seams, which I've never done to any tent before, but this tent IS for 'the baby' after all.

We are supposed to get up to 3" of snow this weekend in Chicago, so I can't say that we will be sleeping in the TD - I may stand next to it and have a beer...

Enjoy yours this weekend and be sure to post some pictures.

Ken

I setup up a new 10'x10' screen room in the driveway. Does that count?

Whatever! If it is nice enough, sit in the screen room. I am sure that counts in my book.

It is beautiful in NC today. I washed and will wax the Raindrop. Bernadette put a line in the water for the first time this year and got not one nibble. We will have a campfire tonight and possibly sleep in it. Now that IS official.
