BioLiteStove and Grill

Mick'nSarah

Junior Ranger
I know Jenn has one as well, but last year we bought a BioLite Biomass camping stove and it is an amazing device. The company is pretty awesome too, with their work in developing nations and trying to reduce the indoor air pollution created by cooking over open fires. We just fell in love with the stove a little more last night.

I have most things I need for .e, so when my dividend came from REI I had my eye on 2 things - the BioLite Grill and the BioLite Kettle. Last night we tried out the BioLite Grill with a nice chunk of New York Striplions, and are not looking back. It worked beautifully and I decided to write about it on my blog.

I haven't tried my kettle out yet, but it will be great for making soups and boiling water.

Feel free to check it out if you wish. The lad said that was the best steak he has ever eaten. The boy has good taste!

Great blog & review Sarah. Joy kept saying "amazing" as she watched the Biolite videos. Guess I know what to get her for Mothers Day. Your sirloin looked great too!

Thanks! I love cooking and gadgets like this have me completely geeking out. Mick and I were marveling in the fact that when the big one hits or the zombie Apocolypse comes we will still eat well. We also have power in a way we aren't reliant if necessary. Everyone I have recommended this to (and then went out and got one) has loved it too. Really neat product.

Thanks for the compliments too. It is fun to keep the blog and inspire other moms to camp with their kids. I would love to start a "Mamas on the fly" sort of group. Maybe one day I will get enough ladies together to do it. I get the privilege of camping with another mama and her bird this summer on an epic road trip, so I am really excited for that! Lots to write about this summer!
