IMG_1641.JPG I am pleased to have found a solution to the damage caused to my bike (on top of the car or on a hitch rack) on long drives. My husband doesn't appreciate my bike lying down and taking all of the storage space in the TV.

I don't know if this will work for everyone. I have a small bike. It might work for taller people if the seat and rear rack are removed. I don't know why I didn't think of this before.

Piece of plywood. A bed head clamp. Two bolts and screws.

  2. Cool, but not sure it would work with my bike in our Outbook. I ride a 58 cm. We have had in the Outback and it does of course take up a lot room that way. I have put my rack on the CI but I am a nervous wreck with it back there. Glad it works for you.
