Bastrop State Park - Texas

    This past weekend we camped at Bastrop State Park in Bastrop, TX. Camp site was great the bathrooms were 5-Star, very new, clean, with heat and AC. We enjoyed great weather and much better than two weeks ago when we experienced 20 degree temps at Oak Thicket Park.

    We ate well, we had chicken cacciatore the first night and steaks at potatoes the second night. I set up my mobile HAM radio and made 11 contacts with 1-hour. Contacts included Virgin Islands , Winnipeg and New Brunswick, Canada .

    This was our 11th and 12th nights. The 560 is still running strong and one of our best purchases ever.
