Anzo Borrego State Park

It's been way too long since we've been out! We're planning a short trip to Anzo Borrego SP in March. The desert wildflowers are expected to be epic this spring (with California rains). Hoping there will still be some. We may also spend some time in the Palm Springs/Cochella Valley area. Any suggestions?

re the Spring wildflowers, I haven't made it to Anza Borrego, yet, but if you decide to visit Carizzo Plain there is a HipCamp near there that is excellent. Lovely views, great host

Am interested in what you find for Anza Borrego etc .

I hope not to hi-jack this tread but you caught my attention with the HipCamp recommendation. I've looked a lot at HipCamp but never booked a stay with them. I'd love to hear your experiences with them. (Maybe a separate thread would be better?)

We stayed at Songdog near New Cuyama (near Carizzo Plain) and it was great. Owner is great. Great property. Highly recommend it. The owner may give you a little tour of his house.
