"Adoption" and First Trip

Friday Alice and I leave Denver to pick up our adopted 560 (#307) in Oregon. We'll camp our way home for about a week. We're past motor home owners and delighted to be back to camping on a scale that we think will better suit our life and interests.

Any recommendations for camping near Lake Tahoe or advice for our first trip. I want to keep a log of our miles, nights and adventures over the years. If #307 already has a log we'll continue it. For trip logs do you prefer paper or digital?

 

Especially excited for you! Getting the teardrop is absolutely a great experience. It We have had good luck picking state parks along our route. Haven't been to Lake Tahoe yet, though. Keep us posted!
