We all know about using a towel to cushion the galley surfaces from a rattling cooler or Dometic refrigerator. This is mainly for folks that don't have keen sewing skills, though you do need to know how to use a needle and thread. 1) Using a striped towel makes it easy to keep a straight line, so you simply fold over the edges of the towel to match the width of the cooler and sew them in place in that position. This makes it easier to slide past the hockey stick for Dometic users. 2) In an attempt to improve air circulation, I cut a square out of the back to prevent the tool from completely covering our Dometic's vent. A better design would have been to cut a notch out of one side of the towel and the use some web strapping to create the outside edge. This version required nothing more than a towel and thread.
