550 / 560 560 Ultra

David Olson

Novice
We met with Cary this morning for 2+ hours to order a new 550 Ultra and ended up ordering a 560 Ultra.
Hey guys if you maybe want the 560 but your wife is unsure just let her sit in the couch of the 560 or in my case just let the husband sit in it, she didn't have to twist my arm.
Cary just lets the 560 sell it's self. Is all you need to do is get in the 560, sit on the couch. Yah its a chunk more money but think of the long term comfort.
I could have just stayed home, my wife ordered a great camper. We got the 560 Ultra, solar, SUV,door screens, spare tire, electric brakes and bumper as options. No we have to wait till October.
What and impressive factory. The little details on these campers is impressive.
Oh, Becky wants to name it "Depot" Home Depot stock paid for it. :)
Before we left Necedah we stopped in a couple antique/2nd hand stores and found a great set of 60's era art deco salt and pepper shackers for $3. for the new camper.
Thank You Cary

That is funny! I had to talk Mick into it, and all it took was him seeing it, to agree with me. We have never looked back!

Congrats on your order!

I saw the 560 online and knew immediately that's what I wanted. Showed it to Bill online and he agreed. But you still want to feel and touch it...so I called Cary, he set us up with a couple 5 hrs. away in Missouri. We made a weekend trip, booked into a motel and went for a 3 hr. visit. After leaving drool marks all over the 560 we saw, I literally cried when we left because I knew it would be a while before we could afford it. Thinking we'd get it when our house sold...that was over 3 yrs. ago and it still hasn't sold. But we got ours last March through a fluke....there was no "talking into it" for us. That little hummer sold itself even over the internet! Love Camp Inn folks and I haven't met 1 of them yet! Cary's been awesome - one day we'll meet hopefully...till then....Keep on Kampin'!

Oh the fun you will have over the next few months finding those little accessories. It helps pass the waiting period and those finds are part of the process, at least in my opinion. :) starting our 6th year in our trailer with no name, and still finding/swapping out things that I find.

You didn’t by any chance see a fully loaded 560 with our name on it did you? We got the 560 because we needed some place to put the servants.

Hmmm...this sounds familiar, except we're on year 12. ;)

We saw alot of 560's in all stages of construction. Each had their own work order with name and options. We could look but not touch. Very clean organized factory. Probably saw yours but can't say for sure.

Slumry,

They did see it indeed. I pointed it out to them. But, they were a bit overwhelmed at the moment so we will cut them some slack for forgetting already. ;)

Cary

Congrats on your order!! You are right behind us. Ours will be ready in September--and can't wait. We ordered a 560 also.

Well I just email Cary and asked him to add air conditioning to our order.
My wife said maybe we won't use it much but it will be there if it is very hot and humid + we may go places that we would have avoided without it.
Also Cary said it can't be put in later.
To think I was originally going to get a 550 Classic.

This sounds really familiar, I think it is what they call trailer creep. Don’t forget the sun roof; we waited to the last possible moment and almost didn’t get it installed. It was actually recommended by Bear as a more diplomatic way of dealing with strange visitors than having to open your door.

Craig said to save yourself a lot of pain, suffering & lost sleep...follow Evan's example & just order it with everything...& then some!

We now offer it as a package....it's called the Evan-tually Everthing Package. :D

(Sorry, Evan...just couldn't resist - and the whole family joined in...even Nichole [of the famous "Nichole Guard" option...you did order one of those, didn't you?]!) ;)

Betsey

Nice, Betsey. Actually, I'm pretty sure there was something we didn't get... just can't remember what it was.

Excellant decision to add AC. Thought Evan passed the Washer and dryer onto someone else. Too much dirty laundry.
