"HELLO MCNUGITS!"
In case you're wondering, the guy hanging out the window waving and yelling at you from the yellow school bus was my husband, Kyle. He takes 7th grade students on canoe trips every year with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. He saw your camper and campsite from the bus as they were leaving. You were riding up on your bikes. You're having beautiful days for camping. Enjoy!

Deb & Kyle,
That is SO funny! We were racking our brains, trying to figure out who that was!! Just after we got back from our bike ride, we went out for a paddle, and Jim asked the person with the canoe carrier who the male chaperone was. We didn't recognize the name, so then we were really confused! Thanks for clearing up that mystery! The weather is just perfect, and we couldn't resist driving up to Chickahominy to try out the newly opened leg of the Capital Bike Trail, and get some good paddling in. Come on over and see us! We check out on Wednesday.

Jim and Jamie,

We'd love to stop by, but it's one of those 'look for us only if you see us' kind of things. Kyle's in the midst of coordinating the canoe trips for the entire 7th grade at his school. Much of the work is done, but things come up. I'll send you a post if we can.
