We booked several camping trips today for 2019 with the 50% off Black Friday deal offered by the SC State Parks. It is extended through Monday due to a glitch the park system had with their reservation system if anyone is interested in camping in SC. We will be at Oconee State Park in April and then again Memorial Day weekend, Keowee-Toxaway State Park in March & September, & Calhoun Falls on Labor Day weekend. We will probably book one more Oct weekend before the deal ends. These are all within an hour's drive from our house so we can work and get to the campground before dark at all of these.
During the summer we will try to get out of SC, maybe the Midwest if we decide to take Jeremiah to Necedah for a checkup at the Camp Inn factory. We have also thought about New England and crossing over into Quebec. Our daughter's schedule will dictate some of this. She has to to do a Co-op for her Packaging Science major at Clemson University either starting this summer or in Sept., so where and when she does this may dictate our summer camping.
