Notes:
1. Check external LP quick release, (NOW fixed - just needed cleaning, backup part on order, for buyer as a back up).
2. Yakima rack locks. Can’t for the life of me find them. Only $4 for replacements
3. Condensation. Suggest you get one of those condensation mats for under mattress/insulation mats as noted on the forum. http://www.hyperventmarine.com/
4. Detailed – I chose to NOT buff it out to a mirror like shine, you can do that if you’d prefer. While I got most of the decal outlines removed, there are some faint lines that can be taken out with the Shiny buff thing. The big back one is good, but the Rt Side does have a faint outline as do sever small decals on the left back. They should be removed with the Buff or in time. I just like the Patina on it and personally don’t like the mirror shine some do.
5. Stains, there are some wood water stains due to my carelessness in leaving the window opened by mistake. Otherwise it’s fairly clean, remember it’s been owned not NEW… it gives it character IMNSO.

Once a teardropper, always a teardropper. Don't be leaving us once you get your new rig, Frank. :)

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

Thanks Evan, if allowed I'll be more than happy to post.. I'll paint it Silver? heheh, would that do??

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

Good luck with the sale. Look forward to hearing about your adventures down the road! And your great photos too!

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

Thanks Diane,
The adventure continues, just the Habitat is changing...
Luv'd 'Le Droppe', but time....

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

I realize the one constant in life is change. Your knowledge and experience have been invaluable. It has helped me understand a lot about the camping advantages of the teardrop style. Your precise down-to-earth way of explaining what works and doesn't work, and why, has been an inspiration.

I hope you continue to read and post on this forum. Best wishes for the future.

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

"Inspirational??..."
You 'Talk'n to me'.. heheh...

OP, thanks, if I've helped in any way on anything it's probably cause I feel the pain of making the same mistake over and over and over, heheh, and simply trying to help the Cause...

I look forward to catching up to you on the road... I look at your Avatar and posting and think, now there's someone who likes to "Get out there"...
and that's Kewl...

Cheers..

Fun...

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

Thanks Becky.
See ya on the road...

Also, I did post a question on your blog regarding finding longer term campgrounds or monthly rates instead of having to move every 2 weeks...

Just a wandering mind that wants to know...

cheers..

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

Your trailer looks great Frank. I envy the person who will get it without the six month wait. For me it was a 10 month wait because I didn't want to pick it up in winter.

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

Yah, hopefully the "Instant - 2 days and start packing" will help.

Especially now that Spring has Sprung... time to get out there...
Thanks Pat...

fun

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

Hmmmm... A little surprised at the lack of interest.. must be too many on the market.

Well, then I'll be posting on Craig's list and the other one tomorrow. I was hoping someone one the forum would be interested and give it a good home.. guess not..

Forward Ho....

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

I have been surprised to see how many CI's have been for sale over the past year. I purchased mine used and at that time they rarely came up for sale used. But production on new ones wasn't what it is now either.

All the trailers that have been listed on the forum appear to be in great condition and pretty well fitted out. I would expect that a potential purchaser in most cases would be someone that has already been investigating teardrops and is on the edge of making that decision to buy one.

In my case - the 560 was my second teardrop - upgrade in features over what my first non-CI had.

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

Thanks RG,

It just struck me as a "Huh"? heheh. Usually there are some people standing by for when they become available, so a little surprised.

I'll be posting on the local Craig's list and that I'll deliver half way up to 1000 miles might help....

Hava good one..

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

I'm surprised too that someone hasn't snatched her up already especially with your offer to meet half way and the great condition she is in. Good Luck.

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

I wish I was ready to buy! With all the options included and in great shape, I am surprised someone didn't jump on this deal! Good luck!

Re: 4-Sale 2008 550 Ultra # 249

thanks Becky and Mike & Kathi (heheh, I never know which one on the joint names)

Sale is pending, will close on Friday with luck.
New potential owners are terrific to work with and will fit right in. More important is that they'll, TD and buyers, will be a perfect match.

so keeping fingers crossed...
