1st Outing of 2011

Next week at this time, we'll be snuggled up in our McNugit beside a lake, for our first outing of the year. It's been a looooong cold winter, and we are SOOOO looking forward to this trip!! We'll also be trying out our bike rack on the new dual hitch we just picked up from Northern. It took some modifications to the bike rack, but seems to be a better set-up than hanging it off of the back of the trailer. Details to follow!
 
Enjoy your weekend! I am so, sooo wishing it was us out there camping! We had snow this weekend and looks like a full week of rain coming....
 
We've had 2 outings in "MiniMc" and were planning on going out again over the Easter weekend to a campground close to relatives and "show off" and play catch up with them.

BUT...I just found out this afternoon that WE'RE HAVING A WEDDING! Our youngest son Mark was engaged (she broke it off right before Christmas), they're back together and getting married in 6 weeks! May 27th to be exact. (Her Dad was the problem...) anyway, we're in wedding mode and money for gas will be in short supply for a while till we get it all behind us.

Now maybe we can start planning for the Camp Inn/Camp Outt in Wisconsin in September!

Same here...hard to believe a year ago we were camping at Forestville/Mystery Cave & the weather was beautiful, eh?

Thanks Kathy! They were supposed to be married on April 29th (same day as the Royal Wedding). My son said "We had the date first!" when told about the Royal Engagement...so I'm really glad they're "RE-engaged" and planning their wedding or else when April 29th comes around he would have been devastated...he's pumped now tho! He's a future WIDE-AWAKE Air Traffic Controller! (Studying in school now for it, then on to FAA training for 8 wks.)
