    Hi Everyone!

We are still planning on the 17th Annual Camp-Inn Camp-Outt and the website is open for registration. However, as the site states, whether or not it will be held will depend on the COVID-19 situation, the campground and other factors.

At this point, the campground wants us to come, but they also currently have a social distancing policy, which means no big groups gathering in one area. Those of you who have attended in the past know that this will impact our shelter area and potluck. We are working on adjustments for these. At this time, we will still have our big sheltered area but will space out the tables. No group potluck on Saturday or breakfast on Sunday. However, Joe & Karen will still be there making and selling pizzas for anyone to purchase. We may do this in place of the Saturday potluck instead of having them available on Friday evening,.

Besides registering, you will still be able to order shirts, but only T-shirts, short and long sleeve. A $10 shipping fee will be added to your order at time of purchase, in case we have to cancel the CICO. If it is not canceled, we will refund your $10 at the Camp-Outt.

For those who look forward to attending Cranfest, it has been canceled this year.

Factory tours will still take place, as long as the State is allowing us to do so.

Should the event have to be cancelled, we will still plan on a virtual event for the weekend for anyone who would like to join in. Info on this will be provided at the point the decision is made to cancel.

Lastly, the decision to cancel will be made no later than August 25 to allow for attendees to adjust their travel plans. We will be sure to post it on the CICO website, as well as the forums.

    Hope this answers your questions!

The 17th Annual Camp-Inn Camp-Outt is about a week away! Although this year will be a much more scaled down in events and attendance, we will still have a great time!

    Here are some updates:

Joe & Karen will be making & selling fresh-out-0f-the-oven wood fired brick oven pizzas on Saturday evening in place of the pot luck.

Dutch oven cobblers & home made ice cream is still on the agenda for 8:00p Saturday evening. You will have your choice between 3 types of cobblers and there will be a line for each, after which you can get in line for ice cream. All of this delightfully delicious decadence will be served by the Friends of the Camp-Outt.

WE WOULD LIKE EVERYONE WHO CAN TO BRING A CAMPING LANTERN (Coleman or any brand) as well as whatever it needs - mantles, white gas, kerosene, propane, even battery operated ones - and have each ready to light.

Prior to cobblers & ice cream, we will be doing a "Lighting of the Lanterns" in honor of our dear friend and long time teardropper, Lori Erickson. Lori passed away in February after a long and hard fought battle with Inflammatory Breast Cancer. They will all be placed together to let their light shine.

We will have some yard games available for campers to sign out during the weekend. However, please feel free to bring your own and enjoy the sunshine we are supposed to have!

    Looking forward to seeing everyone!

    Safe Travels!

Thanks to all the Camp-Inn folks, who once again, despite the extraordinary Covid 19 circumstances, went ahead with holding the annual get together after all. Even though it was somewhat abbreviated with needing to eliminate the pot luck dinner, and the Sunday departure farewell breakfast for distancing reasons, it was still fun seeing some familiar faces, and meeting some new ones as well. The dutch oven cobbler and homemade ice cream were still the Saturday evening hit they always are. Thanks again for making this annual event another successful get together, and hopefully by next years event, things will be back to normal

Ditto! Jackie, myself, Tahoe , and Gypsy all had a great time. It is always fun and educational to see how other folks do things. We met new friends, learned lots, got our roof rack installed, and a tour of the nest. We got home 2 days ago after 3200 miles on the road. Our longest trip so far but certainly not our last. Next year we hope will include a visit to the daughter in Lake Tahoe. Thankfully she has space in her driveway, a bathroom and electric hookup in the garage. All just 2 blocks off the lake. I think we impose on her for a long stay! ;-) We will try to make next years CICO especially if it is to be the final one organized by Camp-Inn.
