    Itinerary 11th Annual Camp-inn Camp-outt

Enjoy the CICO this year! (Fun little clip!) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8v5WAxj5U5A We won't make it this time (we will one day). Just returned from a trip to Europe to visit Mick's family and need to save for more big trips again. Hoping to get out locally in the next couple of weeks...

Hello from The City of Roses

Welcome to another Portlander. We are here too, and will look forward to crossing oaths with you! I did the same trip a couple of years ago with my son down through southern Oregon and the Redwoods. Great place for early trips! Enjoy!

    550 / 560 Ordering Options...

Bear, I think you and Jenn give some of us the best advice. Even though I mostly camp on weekends, I do go on longer trips, which I pack for in a different way and I have learned different techniques from you both. I know it still isn't the same, but the insight you two provide is invaluable. We...

    Side Tent Side Tent

There is a floor in it and unless you wanted to put a hole in it (or disassemble half of it to drain), I think a different tent (maybe a pop up variety?) would be a better option.

    A & A RV Resort (Cortez)

We only stayed here one night. I wouldn't like to stay in the pull throughs, but they had some nice back-in sights with water and electric. They also had a pool and an 18-hole mini golf, along with bath houses, laundry, and a log cabin family room. Owners were brand new and really happy to help...

    12V outlets

We actually keep a plug in that gives us the ability to charge via USB, no lights though so there is no drain to the battery.

    Mather Campground (Grand Canyon NP)

In short, I would stay here again, but would prefer to do it in the off season. I would first look at Desert View Campground instead though - smaller, away from the village, seemed quieter and similar facilities. Here is my full review...

    550 / 560 Ordering Options...

I like my roof racks now that we built the solar shower. Before that, we didn't really use them.

Tear not charging from truck electrical?

We have had the very same thing happening this year. It worked last year (the first year we had this different tow vehicle). I was on the road when we noticed it this summer. My batteries would not charge while driving, but I had all of my lights. I did find it strange it kept telling me to...

Using a Camp-Inn with Children under 5 Yr Old

Oh, and one other thing. If you decide to go the blanket/sheet route with the bunks, a crib size sheet fits those mattresses best. When it is hot, we leave the sleeping bag home and put a sheet on the mattress and he just uses a blanket. He also uses a small pillow that we got from IKEA. I think...

Using a Camp-Inn with Children under 5 Yr Old

Hi Crystal! I have one child (a son who will turn 7 in a few weeks, eek! Where did the time go?). We have had no trouble with camping with our 560 and him. In fact he absolutely loves being out. We lived in our teardrop for a month this summer with no complaints. Here is my advice for...

    Canyonlands Campground (Moab)

At the end of our trip we stayed in Moab at Canyonlands Campground which is in town. It backs up to the the high school football field (which wasn't an issue for us since it wasn't football season, but hear Friday nights can get pretty loud with games). You feel pretty tucked away though because...

    ABOUT CAMPINN CAMPERS

Susan_Alan, are those the folding ones? My parents have those too. Not sure how much they have used them yet though. They took them up to their boat and keep them there. I look forward to trying them one day!

    Stickers

I don't do stickers, but I collect the walking stick medallions. I decided not to use the small nails that come with them, but use museum putty (did someone say it isn't a museum? Ha!). I use this one...

    The "Dew Drop Inn" Chronicles

Close, but no cigar! Pretty crazy how similar it is, but the details are way off. You can't imitate that or the customer service we get.

    Photo contest - Shameless plug

Will do! I think you create a login if you want to (I actually did that because when I tried to log in with my Facebook account, it said my name was Amanda Arms...no idea who that person is). No worries otherwise. Thanks for the support!

Thank you! Never really entered a contest before, so just thought I would give it a go! Nothing to lose!
