Our condolences and prayers go out to Phil's loved ones and Camp Inn family. His spirit will live on through his fine craftsmanship so many of us enjoy from our campers.

    Storage Shelf Dimensions????

Our CI lives in our garage when it is not out on adventures; and between the 6 of us, we do "garage Camp-Inn" a lot of nights. Our 11 year old asks to sleep out there all the time! :)

    Kitchen "Cooler Niche"

I just went out to the garage and measured my cooler area. I got 24-1/4" wide by 15-1/2" deep (stopping measurement exactly where the stainless steel side walls stop) by 17-1/2" tall (that's measuring with our Coleman 54 qt cooler in place with the side table sitting on top of it--to give you...

    Itinerary Nw Round-up 2015

Re: NW Round up Thanks, Sarah. I'll have to remember the tow hooks on the front make a good dog tie-out! smile I was wondering how you like towing Dottie with your FJ? Any idea what kind of MPG you get towing with it? We bought the 2014 Trail Team edition FJ back in September and love it...

    Merry Christmas from Max!

Those flying monkeys scared the living daylights out of me as a little kid! Maybe that's why I wasn't really a typical rebellious teenager; I was scared straight by the flying monkeys when I was about 8 years old.

    Newbies from Houston

Welcome fellow Texans! This is definitely the place to hang out and absorb a wealth of knowledge and ideas.....plus pass the time while you wait for what seems like eternity for your CI. Trust me though, it is worth the wait! Casandra

    First real trip

So glad to hear your first outing is going well. You are making me envious! We spent a fair bit of time in the Wilmington/Jacksonville, NC area from 2009-2012 while our oldest son was in the Marine Corps stationed @ Camp Lejeune. I really miss the trips out there along the coast....but do not...

    Update The Wait Is Over!

That is so much more exciting of a present delivery to be waiting for than the Christmas packages I'm expecting from UPS! I'm pretty sure I'd be like a little kid with my nose pressed against the window watching & waiting for that truck to drive down our street! Congratulations! Post pictures...

    Fires

Last summer we were camped next to a couple in a fairly large travel trailer. They had been inside the trailer all day and we finally saw them come outside a little bit around supper time. The man was grilling something and also built a huge bonfire (using LOTS of lighter fluid). They went...

Electric Brakes Hand Brake - Option

We were debating this option while getting ready to place our order, but then wound up buying a 3 month old/barely used 560 that came up on the forum instead and it does not have the hand brake option. So, I can't offer a first hand opinion. The thing we thought would be really cool about...

    Fires

Wow...4 fires left burning...that might be a record! We have run into this a few times. If it's near our campsite, we put it out. If it's one we see while out sightseeing, hiking or biking the trails, we call and let the Park Rangers know. It is so hard to believe that people will vacate...

    Monument Valley from 30K feet

When I first tried the link to the rest of your photos, the web site had a pic of a giraffe running crazy & said something about "sorry, we're running around with our hair on fire" & the site being overloaded or under maintenance some such.....LOL. I've seen them now & it's really cool seeing...
