    Bad Tow Vehicles?

To me the questions to answer: What is your budget? What speed do you desire to travel up a "big hill"? I have a 2010 Subaru Outback, excellent tow vehicle. The only passes I have traveled is around Chattanooga, Tn. No problem. The most consistent hill I travel is interstate 90 west...

Went to RV Show in Austin

Agree totally. Today I went to the very small RV show in Rochester. Falsely hoping to see a T@G. Asked the two dealers displaying why they didn't bring a teardrop...... they don't have any instock. What I noticed about the interiors is the return of dark woodwork. Every day I smile while...

    Solar

Above reason why I carry cables and a portable power pack on trips after running down the car battery in a state forest campground after my friends left me stranded. Begged for assistance from a close camper to jump car. Jean

    Solar

Roof mounted: at least it won't walk away when you are not in camp. Ground mounted: security is an issue. If I ever invest in a solar panel, will be ground mounted. I like to put a canapy over the tear drop, so no use having a roof mounted solar panel.

    Fridge / Cooler Heavy Coolers?

Winterizing the water system is very easy, takes abouit 5 minutes and less then 1/2 gallon of RV antifreeze. Use a plastic soda bottle, remove the bottom, keeping the cap end. Place cap end into water spout, pour in antifreeze. Activate water pump until antifreeze dispenses from faucet...

    Fridge / Cooler Heavy Coolers?

Jean again, to me the dometic is not any heavier then a traditional cooler. Built in handles allow for easy handeling.

    Fridge / Cooler Heavy Coolers?

The other Minnesota Jean here, I love the sink and stove. Part of what makes the Camp Inn a superior product. If you don't get the sink or stove, then you will have to plan, purchase, pack, store, move a stove and water container. To me, Cary is right, resale will be impacted without a...

    Hi from Minnesota

Jean, Yes, you can learn to back up a trailer. My 18 year old son gave me a 30 minute lesson. Then i practiced in a parking lot. Took me about 6 months to feel comfortable. As for putting up the Northern Breeze. it is a "breeze". Not that bad really. I will gladly show you how I...

    Hi from Minnesota

Jean, Consider Camp Inn has a higher price point, and hold their value upon resale. That fact does not hold true with large box retail travel trailers. I have no experience with lower price point teardrops about resale value. Also, a Camp Inn will last a lifetime if properly cared for...

    Hi from Minnesota

Welcome to another Jean. There are many Camp Inn in Minnesota. Like you, initially I would have preferred a different set up then the ice cream counter doors. But have accepted them as they are because the over all top notch quality was more important. If you are in the Rochester area...

One of my trips thru Necedah, some local asked where the "neat little camper" came from. THey were suprised to learn Necedah. Explained location, they couldn't place the factory. Then explained next to "screw" factory, they knew Camp Inn location. Before I know how to prounce Necedah. I...
