    Email Cary to make sure, but in my manual, it says to buy 7" Dexter brake assembly, right and left side. They are not interchangeable. E-trailer sells them as a set for under $200.

    Unlike a car, trailer brakes, especially small drums, don't have a lot to choose from. If they fit, they fit, and if they work, they work. As long as they have the wheels off, have them service the bearings.

    Not sure I'd add 60 pounds to my tongue for any reason, but if it solves your issues, you could go to a welder and have a plate welded to the tongue that would accommodate the beefy new jack.

    I would recommend you consider the washer/dryer upgrade. Air brakes are also very nice.

    I would focus on which vehicle you like better, how much interior room you want/need, noise level on the road, general feel, which you like better. Have you driven both? If not, do. Then look at towing capacities and 0-60 times. Don't buy a vehicle based on specifications.
