Have a great time everyone! Wish we could join this year, but we will have to look forward to it another time.

We just arrived home and got everything unloaded after another (our 2nd) great CICO! It was nice to see everyone again, and nice to meet a few newcomers - namely Jenn, Tom & Gail. Thanks once again to Craig, Betsey, and Cary for making it all possible - an enormous undertaking, but they made it look easy.

Finally have Uff Da Inn backed in the garage, learned that I left the jack wrench someplace..... Guess I get to invest in a new one.

    Interesting weekend.

What site were you in? Bear, Jenn & Joe B. are still there & Craig is going back tomorrow to take down the big blue tent. They could look around for it.

A helpful tip for the jack crank...after you use it, rest it on or hook it into the tongue. That way, you will see it when you go to hitch up the teardrop & it won't get left behind.

Not sure where it is. Last remember using it for the Nebraska couple.
    I was next to George.

Woooo Hooooo what a great week. The CICO was outstanding, unfortunately I didn't get the photos I wanted, but I have the pictures in my mind. Ken you were right, Craig, Betsey, and Cary, put on a top of the line weekend. It is great to see the people from the past outings, as well as new ones.
I got to spend a night camping with Bob and Kathy on their very 1st night in their TD, and a couple nights with Tom who also just picked up his and Gayles new TD Monday. Great people.

Betsey, I sure would like an invite for next years CICO.

Thank you so much for having me this year.

    George,

You are invited back, every year, no matter what type of camper you are using! Somebody has to be my personal cook.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the Camp-Outt this weekend. We had 47 campers, 105 people, plus several extras for the potluck.

There were 3 people from California, 2 from Texas, 2 from Massachusetts, 2 from Virgina, 1 from Ohio, 1 from Tennessee, 2 from Nebraska & the rest from Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois & Wisconsin.

As always, we had great food, lots of smiles, lots of visiting, met new camping friends as well as seeing old ones again. Even though the weather could have been better, it could also have been a lot worse (like it was on Sunday from 10am on, as people were leaving). The Big Blue Tent served us well & created a place for people to gather & visit.

Thank you also, to all who helped set up, tear down & everything in between. You lightened the load & it was greatly appreciated.

It is the teardrops that have brought us together. It is the camaraderie we share & the friendships we’ve made that keep us coming back.

Thank you again & we’ll see you in 2012 at the 9th Annual Camp-Inn Camp-Outt!

    Hey Linda,
If you had completed your plans and had come up when you planned for the CI-CO, you could have taken stories back to Texas with you about what rain looks and feels like. LOL
I'm sorry that was mean. LOL

Due to our rather hurried departure Sunday morning, Joanne & I didn’t get a chance to say good-bye to very many of you.

So… Thanks again to Craig and Betsy for putting on the CICO, I know it’s a lot of extra work, thanks for doing it. We always enjoy our visits to Wisconsin.

Also thanks to everyone who helped us get packed up Sunday morning, and thanks to everyone for all the prayers, well wishes, phone calls, texts, e-mails, visits, and other offers of assistance.

A very special thanks to Sophia for the beautiful hand drawn flowers and get well card. I’ve been displaying them proudly for everyone to see.

I (Darrel) am OK. They took me from the campground into Mauston and then on to Madison. They put me through pretty much every “nuclear-stress-echo-cardio-gram” test they had on Monday and I PASSED ALL OF THEM.

They put a pace-maker in Tuesday, and let us go home Wednesday. We got back to Omaha late Wednesday night.

    Again thanks to everyone.

Oh my what a camping trip. Happy to hear it all turned out ok.
I think you were one of the first to show us your tear 2 years ago. You and Jerry and Tina sold us we have had our since a year ago April and love it. Be well!

    Darryl,
I sure am glad you are OK. I sure hope the pacemaker is a precautionary measure verses a required item.
Needless to say you had the deep concern from quite a few folks. I sure hope it wasn't from my cookin! LOL

    Thanks for the update.

Glad to hear you're doing well, Darrel. I'm sure you and Joanne are quite relieved to get all those good results. Take care.

    Well, miracle happen...

Expecting a freeze/frost tonight. Wanted to cover up flowers because later next week temps will be in the 80's.

Goal was to find some stakes, and what did I find? Well, of course the Jhook wrench.

Now it is truely amazing where the j hook wrench was found-on the frame just behind the LP tank. Stayed in place for the trip home over road bumps!

The thing is I ordered a replacement this afternoon from Camp Inn. Now hopefully to cancel the order on Monday.
Hey, Betsey can you have any input into that before Monday?

Great Day to own a Camp Inn!

    Darrell and Joanne,

Sunday morning also allowed the Camp Inn community to pay it forward to both of you. Jerry is the first person who I recall initiated the process of packing your items. Various other campers pitched in.

All week I have spoken to co-workers of the "Pay it forward" efforts of the campers to help those in need.

Your heart has been given a necessary boost, but so has mine knowing the Camp Inn Community will help those in need.

And when we visited with him Monday night, he looked great! Of course, the staff looked like they had been through the ringer, but Darrel was raring to go! :D :D :D
