We are selling our 560 Ultra, #445. Asking $16,000 or best offer. We are located in Swampscott, MA. Photos here.

This camper has brought us so much joy and taken us to incredible places. Now we aren't using it enough to justify keeping it to ourselves.

    Notes:

    1. The trailer has been stored carefully throughout its life. Always stored indoors through the winter.
    2. The aluminum skin has been allowed to age.
    3. The trailer was taken to Camp Inn in September 2019 for a check up and to have a leak repaired. There is some staining of the wood in the lower kitchen storage bin due to this leak, but no structural damage.
    4. The trailer's wheels, bearings, brakes, and frame were inspected in 2022. The handbrake cabling was replaced, and the electric brakes were serviced.

    Features (factory):

    • SUV Off Road Tire Package
    • Electric Brakes with Park Lever
    • Air Conditioning
    • LP Furnace with Hi/Lo switch
    • Solar Controller/External Connector

It appears in one of the recently uploaded photo that there is still some moisture in the wood, can you tell us what Camp-Inn did to correct the leak in 2019? How old is that photo? Have you ever replaced the tires? Any other work you may have done to it recently? Is it in safe condition to make a journey from MA to FL? I have interest. Thanks

Good morning PreyDrive and thanks for your interest.

You're right that there is still moisture in the wood. When taking those pictures I concluded there must be an ongoing issue with that leak. As I was not the owner in 2019, I don't have details of what Camp Inn did -- but I believe the standard procedure for galley hinge leaks is to fill the offending area with a silicone sealant. The repair to our hinge appears to have been carefully wrapped with aluminum foil to protect it from wear, and I've never peeled back the foil layer to see what is beneath.

The photo is from last week. I have not replaced the tires. We did have the frame, brakes, wheels, bearings, and tires inspected by a trailer mechanic in 2022, and he replaced the handbrake cables and serviced the electric brakes. He found everything else to be in good repair. Since then we have put <500 miles on the trailer (~3 trips and 6 nights of use).

Other than that, and regular cleaning, winterizing, and dewinterizing, we have not done any improvements or repairs. There is nothing I would repair other than the leak.

It is in safe condition to make the MA->FL journey. Our last trip of ~200 miles was 2 months ago, and everything was ship-shape.

I'm private messaging you my phone number for further discussion.

Is the leak in back of gallerya? If so then yes the fix is to drill hole and introduce caulk. Then add foil tape to the joint. The bottom galley storage area is a different fix.

Some people mention to make sure gallery door is even on both sides.

You need to e-mail Cary. He will send you a sheet describing how to do a field repair.

In the U channel atop the galley bulkhead, there is supposed to be a dam of silicone a few inches from each end. Once that cured, the next step was to fill between the dam and the outer wall. The latter step got overlooked at times, and sometimes also the former. The latter is a much simpler fix.

    Good Luck!
