Side Table Storage - No More Scuffing Of The Steel Walls

When we got our trailer, the stainless steel around the stove was scuffed and scratched from movement of the side table when stored on a cooler or crate. Others may have this issue too. My solution is simple: add 2 rubber bumper pads on one side of the table, and drill an extra hole in the table leg so that the leg can be extended just a bit to clamp the table in between the side panels. The table can’t move sideways anymore. It is just enough space to keep the hinges away from the steel. The new hole is in the sticker area of the leg.
On the backside we store our collapsible trash can so it wont scuff there. BTW that trash can been the greatest addition to our camping experience. Should have bought it years ago.

Serial 1099 came with rubber bumpers on the side preventing the side table from hitting the sides.

So somewhere between 899 and 1099 this must have been added. Or the bumpers in ours fell off during the previous ownership. So much fun to talk about the simple things of Campinn life!

I need to be more specific. The small rubber bumpers were attached to the walls and not the table. The detail Craig and Cary continue to put into their designs are impressive.
