We are Mike and Charlene and we just placed our order for a 560 Ultra. The build will not begin until October so we have a good wait ahead of us. We are really excited and are looking forward to many adventures with our new camper.

We have camped in everything from tents to Class A motorhomes. The best memories were in our teardrop.

Mike and Charlene, if during the wait you want to enjoy a gathering, check out tearjerkers.net for gatherings near you. I often join the Illinois Land of Lincoln group gatherings, unknown how far some of those may be from you.

Even if you don’t camp but drive out for Saturday to join the fire and ask questions, it’s fun to chat with other small camper enthusiasts.

So happy to welcome you to the club! You've made a great decision choosing campinn. They treat customers better than any other company I've worked with, and their trailers are absolute top notch in design, and build quality...

Whats youre camping history? How'd get get to tear-drops?

hello! Our camping history is very limited. We did camp at the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone back in 2012 which we loved. Looking to use the teardrop trailer as an easy way to travel and visit the many national parks in our retirement which should begin in the near term. It appears to be an easy way to just get away from it all and relax somewhere. Watched tons of videos on camping with a teardrop trailer. Can’t wait to get it and travel.

Welcome. We bought our 550 just prior to retirement and it was one of the best things I could have done.

Not sure where my post went --- sounds like our camping history is similar :) We had late 60's Sero Scotty we bought from a local "teardrop" builder. Quickly realizing how heavy it was, and at the core, a smaller teardrop was the right thing. Leading me to design 5 or 10 home-built plans all looking exactly like a camp-inn. Where my better and smarter half just said "Order it!"

We've spent most of our time at state parks, local parks, a few private campgrounds. The state parks have always been amazing, espeically in Florida and Indiana (i'm jaded)

The most memorable camps have been places that surprised me.

The Beckley Expedition Coal Mine in Bekcley WV - a city park with a few camp sites rigth next to the exhibition. A nice roadside stop overnight. a night and a few hours for the museum. Very cool stop.

Sylvan Lake near Custer South Dakota come to mind...8500 feet, no internet, cool nights and a stones throw from Crazy Horse, Rushmore and one of the best nature drives I've ever been on.

The best place I can think of is Mackinaw Mill Creek in northern michigan --- the "lakeside" or "near the lake" sites are all small --- 20 feet at most being reasponsble. Our CI slipped right in, behind a stand of trees and allowed us to be within earshot of the surf at night...and not packed in like Sardines....

I've got more...these just stand out. I can't wait to find more, and to revisit some of these in the coming year or two as we break in "Serenity -firefly edition"

Our first launch is planned....watching the calendar.

You are going to LOVE the places you can see, and how easy it is to just back in, set up, and enjoy the evening.....
