I am looking for new or used grey side tent(s). I am willing to buy up to 3 of them. It is okay if they are in need of repair. Please let me know if you have or know of any for sale. I am in western WI in case that is important.

    Hello Mike Son of Don,
We have two gray side tents that we'd like to sell. We are in Eugene, OR. We bought our Camp-Inn teardrop 550 five years ago used from a couple who had owned it for 2 yrs. The side tents were included. We just do not use side tents and decided we might as well sell them.
We are asking $250 each plus shipping. If you are interested I could take them to Fed Ex on Monday to get an estimate of shipping costs.
Both tents are in excellent condition. The previous owners upgraded the poles as you'll see in the photos. They also made use of PVC pipes to support the floor so that stakes are not needed. As you see in the pictures we set the tent up on pavement and it works very well. Ground tarps and flies are included but not shown in pictures.

Hi Nan, these look great! Will you please get an estimate of the cheapest shipping option for them?

    Thank you!

    Hi Mike,
Yes, I'll get an estimate on Monday. Shall I include the PVC pipes?

    Hi Mike,
I took one of the tents with poles to Fed Ex this morning and then to our local mailing center to get an estimate. Much more than I would have expected with the reason being that neither of us live in transportation "hubs." Fed Ex wanted $160 and the local mailer wanted $120. That's just for one of the tents. If both are shipped the less expensive estimate is $200. Delivery in one week. It would be in two boxes, one for poles, one for tent. Included PVC didn't make a significant difference, although I did not get an exact estimate on that. The PVC pipes are about 1/2 shorter than the fly pole.

Another thing to consider: When getting ready to post the sale of the side tents we set up only one and took the pictures you've seen. Last night when I was preparing the other tent for sale I noticed there were a few tiny holes. Two in the top and 4 in the fly. I have taken pictures of those holes and will post them with this reply. I apologize for that. We haven't had these tents out in 5 yrs. So, if you still want the tents after learning the shipping costs, we can renegotiate the cost of the tent with the tiny holes. I am leaving them unpatched for now.

I'm curious and you don't have to answer but why would you want 3 side tents?

    1/2 inch shorter , not 1/2 shorter.

    Mike,
See my 2 replies above. Additonally, I just used the USPS website to get an estimate if I boxed the two tents up together in one box myself. That would be a little extra work on my part but would bring total shipping costs for two tents down to $112.
