11/5 - 8/2015 Beautiful drive up the mountain to reach this campground. Very clean facility with nice space between sites. We stayed at the west rim area. We heard there are great hiking trails but it rained the entire time so we did a lot of reading instead. The camp hosts were so nice and friendly. The first weekend of November a craft show is held in the group site area. We got to walk through it and saw many wonderful artisans. We hope to go back to this campground when it's not raining so we can hike some of the many trails at the park.

Cloudland Canyon topography will surprise you. The West Rim campground is my favorite providing more privacy than the East Rim campground. Excellent facilities.

I totally agree. The West Rim campground is the ONLY one to stay in, IMHO. If I could only book East, I wouldn't. It's like a parking lot. One of two sites we stayed in October West Rim
