Vikings Raiding The Countryside In Raindrop #800 - Lil' Lu!

Discussion in 'Meet & Greet' started by PrairieVikings, Oct 12, 2020.

  1. We are the proud new owners of Lil' Lu! We literally picked her up last Wednesday and spent the weekend in Prince Albert National Park. Simply amazing! Couldn't be happier. Of course, we have lots of questions about add-ons and mods etc! Hope you're all ready, the Vikings are here!!!

Congrats! Prince Albert National Park looks amazing. Care to share campground info? Were you near the Waskesiu town site or further out?

Someday we’ll be able to camp in Canada again...

  4. There are a few campgrounds in Prince Albert National Park. The two campgrounds near Waskesiu are Red Deer and Beaver Glen. Red Deer has full service sites, and Beaver Glen has electricity only. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Both of these campgrounds are easy walking distance to Waskesiu. There are a few others sprinkled throughout the park. The narrows is a first come, first serve campground on Waskesiu Lake with water front spots. No service sites, no showers, washrooms do have sinks and toilets with running water. Lights are solar. This is my favorite campground. You can get a site most weekends throughout the summer. Nemekus Lake also has primitive sites and services similar to the Narrows, and finally Sandy Lake is the same as Nemekus and Sandy, but with a really cool layout, and beautiful lakeside sites. The park has amazing hiking, biking, paddling, fishing and so much more. It is the Crown Jewel of the prairies! I highly recommend it!!
