We haven't run into the leg length problem, but I am just not a fan of table leg in the dirt and the fussiness of set-up. For our small side table, I have been toying with the idea of mounting a bracket of sorts so that the leg braces against the side of the trailer (angled). This would eliminate the need for adjustment, my dirt concern and also the height issue. Thoughts? Bracket security, of course, but our fridge only can be soooo full and be moved.

I'm sure it is possible given a strong enough leg, but it would have to be substantially stronger than the current leg to hold the weight of a loaded cooler. Then it might be a bit toughter to find a place to store it.

  4. Karin,
why not just use a small plastic cutting board under the leg stand to eliminate the dirt, sand, etc... These can be bought at dollar stores/general dollar etc for $1... we use these under our leveling jacks when needed and easy to store.

Cary, you guys must have looked at Karin's idea of a 45 degree'ish side table brace. What was the conclusion?

That's a nice, sturdy looking setup Karin. It looks like it would handle the weight of the cooler OK, too.
