Moving to Seattle

Discussion in 'Trip Planning' started by Margaret and Ed, Oct 3, 2015.

  1. My husband may be moving to Seattle for work shortly. Since owning the tear drop we are finding ourselves hankering to live in something other than a square apartment. There seems to be a ton of Camp-Inn owners in that area on the map so we would love to connect.
My 'pie in the sky' idea was to buy a small airstream to live in as he will be there only Monday through Friday unless I visit. Sometimes I will bring the TD but others just stay in the Airstream. HOWEVER, I am just wondering how/where one could park the airstream(small) to live in part-time or even where to park the TD where there would be easy access to a ferry/public transport to Seattle. Open to any and all advice on this adventure. It will be hard on the rest of us to have him gone but it is a beautiful place to be so I am sure there will be lots of visits. Any advice for potential part timers welcome.

    Howdy,
I'm in Seattle and had a Tear Drop, aka "Le Droppe" but moved over to the dark side of Truck Camping and moving out of Seattle.

I did manage to set up my "Trip Planning" page as i was constantly forgetting places to go and there are a lot of them.

    Hope this helps..

ps. I don't know on full time storage parks to put it at, but I'm sure there are other's around here that can better address that. My page is for Places to go, thinkgs to do, type...

    fun..

  3. Great site -that would certainly be fun if we could have our TD up there to take some short trips! Thank-you. We are kind of excited but a bit overwhelmed. We should know if a couple of weeks if it is happening.
