    Thanks Becky,
I didn't think anyone was looking at it, so let it lapse.
It'll be quiet until I get the Truck and start building up again.

Appreciate the feedback, I'll check out that FB look, but might be on a differ Blog posting thing...

    cheers..

You're welcome Frank. If your thread on these forums are any indication you'll be a great blogger once you get started again. :)

Read build or buy. I went through that research/analysis and what really detracted me from building was realizing that it may take a few builds to get things right and the ones in the learning curve might not have a very good return on the investment in materials and time.

Read your latest blog - I spent years traveling in the States - Much like you, I saw the inside of manufacturing operations, motel rooms, rental cars and many suppers where I ordered as soon as I sat down so it wouldn't be a hour and a half dining experience. Toward the end of my traveling time I starting staying at Homewood Suites - had breakfast and supper there - much less hassle.

Enjoying your blogs - you do a good job.

    Thanks Bob.

Yep, life on the road can be quite taxing. I do look forward to those times when I can just slow down and take a weekend in nature.

Hopefully retirement is not too far out! Being outdoors everyday getting all the benefits of camping is the best!

My camping memories are not from childhood, but from my husband. Thanks to him, we have made many outdoor adventure memories. And we continue to do so now as full-timers. There's nothing like nature to restore the soul!

    Enjoying it and blog!

My memories are from childhood and wonderful they are - not the faded adult type so similar to that senior prom corsage crushed between the pages of well loved poetry book, but fresh and brilliantly colored they way only a child can see. Aaaa....

Actually, we camped because we were always broke. A family of six living on a ditch digger's income can afford only so much gas, entrance fees and food, but who cared? We kids were totally unaware that we danced on the edge of poverty. Camping and the love of nature was the greatest gift our struggling parents gave us. Bless them. Every time we venture out, they are with us.

    Love camping.

    Love out trailer.

    Camp on,

    Sue

We too camp because we like being outdoors. Both sons have also taken up the tradition and are passing it on to the grandkids. The cycle of life.
